Delete your account and data — Field Technicians

Field Technicians accounts are staff accounts created by the company you work for — not by One Door. Your company holds your records on its own server. You can ask for your account to be closed and your personal data to be deleted at any time, and either your own office or One Door can start that for you.

How to request deletion

Ask your own office first — they manage the accounts and can close yours straight away.
If you would rather not, or your office no longer exists, email support@onedoortech.com with the subject “Field Technicians – Delete my account”.
Include your username, your full name as used in the app, and which company you sign in to. We need the company because your records are on their server, not ours.
The account is deactivated immediately once the request is confirmed: you are signed out on every phone and can no longer sign in.
Your personal data is deleted within 30 days, and you get an email once it is done.

What is deleted

Your app login (username, name, password)
Sign-in sessions on all devices
Push-notification (job alert) tokens for your phones
Entries saved on your phone that were not uploaded (removed when you sign out or uninstall the app)

What is kept, and for how long

Business records of work carried out — installation, redo and removal records, equipment (IMEI/SIM) history, and payment and payout records — are kept by your employing company because they are required for accounting, warranty and legal purposes. They are kept for as long as the law requires (normally up to 10 years), are no longer linked to an active login, and are not used for any other purpose.
Security logs of sign-in attempts are kept for up to 12 months.

Removing the app from your phone

Uninstalling removes everything the app kept on the phone, for every company you had signed in to. It does not by itself close your account — use the steps above for that.
